Los Molinos Unified School District is located in a rural setting in Tehama County, 25 miles north of Chico on Highway 99E near the Sacramento River and east of the rolling foothills of the Sierra Cascade. The district was founded in 1925. In the mid-1960s, Vina Elementary School District unified with Los Molinos School District.
The district has three schools:
- Los Molinos Elementary School
- Los Molinos High School
- Vina School
